Workers, not Watergate burglars

The June 15 Style photograph with the heading “Break-in,” part of the “Watergate at 40” coverage, showed two men in an office of the Democratic National Committee. The caption said that “five men were arrested trying to bug the offices of the [DNC] at the Watergate office complex.”

The photo showed two men standing over office equipment and papers. Since the reference was to burglars, the reader could easily assume that the two men were burglars. They were not. They should have been identified as DNC radio outreach coordinators John O’Leary, left, and and Art Kosatka.
