Potomac Valley Track Club won the team title at the USA National Masters Track Championships at Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex in Landover MD. The team earned its first national title over a field of more than 70 teams.

Bruce McBarnette, 55, of Sterling VA set an age-group world record with a high jump of 6 feet 2 inches. Oscar Peyton, 60, of Accokeek MD set a world record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.52 seconds.

The meet drew 1,044 participants from 47 states and 14 countries.
